Plasma Physics

Plasma Physics Photo

The study of charged particles and fluids interacting with constant electric and magnetic fields is called as Plasma Physics. Plasma is a state of matter that resembles like an ionised gas whereas some partially ionised plasma also exists. The interior core of the sun and stars are the common examples of Plasma whereas neon lights and lightning are examples of partially ionised plasma. Plasma physics is a discipline that has many different areas of application which includes space, astrophysics, controlled fusion, and particle accelerator and beam storage.
