Biography :

Dr. Osman Adiguzel graduated from Department of Physics, Ankara University, Turkey in 1974 and received PhD- degree from Dicle University, Diyarbakir-Turkey in Solid State Physics. He studied at Surrey University, Guildford, UK, as a post doctoral research scientist in 1986-1987, and his studies focused on shape memory alloys. He worked as research assistant, 1975-80, at Dicle University, Diyarbakir, Turkey. He shifted to Firat University in 1980, and became professor in 1996, and He has already been working as professor. He published over 50 papers in international and national journals; He joined over 100 conferences and symposia in international and national level as participant, invited speaker or keynote speaker with contributions of oral or poster. He served the program chair or conference chair/co-chair in some of these activities. In particular, he joined in last three years (2014 - 2016) over 20 conferences as Keynote Speaker and Conference Co-Chair organized by South Asian Institute of Science and Engineering (SAISE), and other institutes and companies. He joined as Keynote Speaker and Conference Co-Chair at 6 conferences held in first half of 2017. Dr. Adiguzel served his directorate of Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences, Firat University in 1999-2004. He supervised 5 PhD- theses and 3 M.Sc theses. He is also Technical committee member of many conferences. He received a certificate which is being awarded to him and his experimental group in recognition of significant contribution of 2 patterns to the Powder Diffraction File – Release 2000. The ICDD (International Centre for Diffraction Data) also appreciates cooperation of his group and interest in Powder Diffraction File.

Research Interest :

Martensitic phase transformations and shape memory effect and applications to copper-based shape memory alloys, molecular dynamics simulations, alloy modeling, electron microscopy, x-ray diffraction and crystallography, differential scanning calorimetry (DSC).

Biography :

Noureddine Zettili is a Professor of Physics at Jacksonville State University, Alabama, USA. His research interests are in the areas of nuclear theory, many-body problem, mathematical physics, and quantum mechanics. He has carried out pioneering work in developing the nuclear Born-Oppenheimer method, a quantum mechanical theory designed to study nuclear collective motion. In addition to his works in the field of nuclear structure and collective motion, he has also worked on the development of a number of simple many-body models that can be solved exactly. He has published over 40 papers in refereed journals and conference proceedings, and has presented about 20 talks at international conferences and institutes. In 2001, he published a textbook on quantum mechanics entitled "Quantum Mechanics: Concepts and Applications." and it book has been highly praised by reviewers and is being adopted as a textbook in a number of universities in the US, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

Manuel F. M. Costa hold a PhD degree in Science (Physics) from the University of Minho (Portugal) where he works since 1985 at its Physics Department teaching and performing applied research in optical metrology, applied optics, thin films and nanoscience, optometry and science education and literacy. Presented over three hundred communications in international meetings and published around the same number of scientific papers, monographs and books. Editor or member of the editorial board of several scientific and educational international journals. Chairperson on nineteen international conferences. Member of the Scientific Advisory Board of EOS, member of the Board of the Iberoamerican Optics Network and member of the Board of Stakeholders of PHOTONICS’21. President of the Hands-on Science Network, of the Portuguese Territorial Committee of the International Commission for Optics and of the Portuguese Society for Optics and Photonics, SPOF. Senior member of SPIE and fellow of European Optical Society.

He is also CEO of a Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) ERS Co. in Los Altos, CA, USA, is Foreign Full Member (Academician) of the National Academy of Engineering, Ukraine (he was born in that country); Life Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), the Society of Optical Engineers (SPIE), and the International Microelectronics and Packaging Society (IMAPS); Fellow of the American Physical Society (APS), the Institute of Physics (IoP), UK, and the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE); and Associate Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). Ephraim has authored 400+ publications (patents, technical papers, book chapters, books), presented numerous keynote and invited talks worldwide, and received many professional awards, including 1996 Bell Laboratories Distinguished Member of Technical Staff (DMTS) Award (for developing effective methods for predicting the reliability of complex structures used in AT&T and Lucent Technologies products), and 2004 ASME Worcester Read Warner Medal (for outstanding contributions to the permanent literature of engineering and laying the foundation of a new discipline “Structural Analysis of Electronic Systems”). Ephraim is the third “Russian American”, after S. Timoshenko and I. Sikorsky, who received this prestigious award. This year he received the 2019 IEEE Electronic Packaging Society (EPS) Field award for seminal contributions to mechanical reliability engineering and modeling of electronic and photonic packages and systems and Int. Microelectronic Packaging Society’s (IMAPS) Lifetime Achievement award for making exceptional, visible, and sustained impact on the microelectronics packaging industry and technology.

Prof Constanza Rubio was born in Spain. Her research line has been developed in the area of Applied Acoustics. Initially in Environmental Acoustics and in recent years has also been investigating the ultrasonic transmission through subsonic orifices and acoustic lenses. Throughout his research career, he has participated in 14 research projects subsidized in public calls. He has published 30 articles in journals included in the JCR, of which 2 articles are published in Physical Review Letters, 3 Applied Physics Letters, 1 Physical Review B, 2 Physical Review E, 2 Applied Physics Express and 1 Europhysics Letters, among others. All of them located in relevant positions in their category. It should be noted that several of these publications have deserved reviews in New Scientics magazine (March 23, 2002), Science Update, electronic edition of the journal Nature (January 10, 2003), Spektrum (German edition of Scientific American) (March 2003); Starke Seiten PVCplus (October 2003), Physics News Update (The American Institute of Physics) n: 571 (January 2, 2002), Science News (April 2002) as well as other more generalist media. She is also co-author of 25 papers presented at international congresses, several of which are invited talks. She has been chairman in several international congresses. In the technological field, she is co-author of 3 patents. In addition, in the teaching field is author and teacher of several MOOCs that are on the edX platform. She is also a conventional teacher in undergraduate and master's subjects. Director of 6 final master's thesis projects, some of them international and co-director of several doctoral theses.

Wenping Cao (M’05-SM’11) received the B.Eng in electrical engineering from Beijing Jiaotong University, Beijing, China, in 1991, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical machines and drives from the University of Nottingham, Nottingham, U.K., in 2004. He is currently a Chair Professor of Electrical Power Engineering with Aston University, Birmingham, U.K., and also a Marie Curie Fellow with Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, MA, U.S.A. His research interests include fault analysis and condition monitoring of electric machines and power electronics. Prof. Cao was the recipient of the Best Paper Award at the 2013 International Symposium on Linear Drives for Industry Applications (LDIA), the Innovator of the Year Award from Newcastle University, Newcastle upon Tyne, U.K., in 2013, and the Dragon’s Den Competition Award from Queen’s University Belfast in 2014. He serves as an Associate Editor for IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON INDUSTRY APPLICATIONS, IEEE Industry Applications Magazine and IET Power Electronics; he is also the Chief Editor for three Special Issues and one book, an Editor for Electric Power Components and Systems Journal as well as nine other International Journals. Prof. Cao is a Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and a Fellow of Higher Education Academy (HEA).

Houxiao Wang received his PhD degree from the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in 2013. He conducted the collaboration work attached with the Institute of High-Performance Computing (IHPC) in Singapore from 2009 to 2011. He got the NTU Research Scholarship (Singapore) in 2008. He is currently an associate professor at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Jiangsu University. He is an invited editorial board member of American Journal of Physics and Applications (AJPA). Wang is currently the member of several professional organizations such as The Optical Society of America (OSA), the Optics and Photonics Society of Singapore (OPSS), and the Materials Research Society of Singapore (MRSS). He has published more than 30 peer-reviewed journal papers. He has been invited as or served as the (honourable) plenary/keynote/invited speaker, the honourable guest/speaker, the (honourable) session chair/co-chair, the honourable/invited organizing committee member, the invited scientific committee member and/or the technical program committee member for around 20 important international conferences in the area.

His current research interests mainly focus on advanced laser drilling, trepanning, machining, processing and manufacturing assisted by water-based ultrasonic vibrations and/or magnetic fields, materials processing, and focused ion beam (FIB) nanofabrication and nanometrology for optical applications.

Alexander Seifalian, Professor of Nanotechnology and Regenerative Medicine worked at the Royal Free Hospital and University College London for over 26 years, during this time he spent a period of time at Harvard Medical School looking at caused of cardiovascular diseases and a year at Johns Hopkins Medical School looking at treatment of liver. He published more than 647 peer-reviewed research papers, and registered 14 UK and International patents. He is currently CEO of NanoRegMed Ltd, working on the commercialisation of his research. During his career Prof Seifalian has led and managed many large projects with successful outcomes in terms of commercialisation and translation to patients. In 2007 he was awarded the top prize in the field for the development of nanomaterials and technologies for cardiovascular implants by Medical Future Innovation, and in 2009 he received a Business Innovation Award from UK Trade & Investment (UKTI). He was the European Life Science Awards’ Winner of Most Innovative New Product 2012 for the “synthetic trachea”. Prof Seifalian won the Nanosmat Prize in 2013 and in 2016 he received the Distinguish Research Award in recognition of his outstanding work in regenerative medicine from Heals Healthy Life Extension Society. His achievements include development of the world first synthetic trachea, lacrimal drainage conduit, and vascular bypass graft using nanocomposite materials, bioactive molecules and stem cell technology. He has over 15,000 media report from his achievement, include BBC, ITV, WSJ, CNN, and many more. Currently he is working on development and commercialisation of human organs using graphene based nanocomposite materials and stem cells technology.

Responsibility: Delegates are personally responsible for their belongings at the venue. The Organizers will not be held responsible for any stolen or missing items belonging to Delegates, Speakers or Attendees; due to any reason whatsoever. 


Insurance: Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind.  


Transportation: Please note that any (or) all transportation and parking is the responsibility of the registrant.  


Press/Media: Press permission must be obtained from allied academies Conferences Organizing Committee prior to the event. The press will not quote speakers or delegates unless they have obtained their approval in writing. The allied academies is an objective third-party non-profit organization. This conference is not associated with any commercial meeting company.  


Requesting an Invitation Letter: For security purposes, a letter of the invitation will be sent only to those individuals who had registered for the conference. Once your registration is complete, please contact me to request a personalized letter of invitation.  


Regarding refunds, all bank charges will be for the registrant's account. 


Cancellation, Postponement, and Transfer of Registration  


Cancellation Policy: If an allied academy cancels this event for any reason, you will receive a credit for 100% of the registration fee paid. You may use this credit for another allied academies event which must occur within one year from the date of cancellation.   


Postponement: If allied academies postpone an event for any reason and you are unable or unwilling to attend on rescheduled dates, you will receive a credit for 100% of the registration fee paid. You may use this credit for another e allied academies event which must occur within one year from the date of postponement.  



Transfer of registration: All fully paid registrations are transferable to other persons from the same organization if a registered person is unable to attend the event. Transfers must be made by the registered person in writing to physics@alliedconference.org. Details must be included the full name of replacement person, their title, contact phone number, and email address. All other registration details will be assigned to the new person unless otherwise specified.  


Registration can be transferred to one conference to another conference of Allied academies. if the person is unable to attend one of the conferences.  


However, Registration cannot be transferred if it is intimated within 14 days of the respective conference. 


The transferred registrations will not be eligible for Refund. 


Visa Information: Keeping in view of increased security measures, we would like to request all the participants to apply for Visa as soon as possible.


Allied academies will not directly contact embassies and consulates on behalf of visa applicants. All delegates or invitees should apply for Business Visa only.


Important note for failed visa applications: Visa issues cannot come under the consideration of the cancellation policy of Allied academies, including the inability to obtain a visa


Refund Policy: If the registrant is unable to attend, and is not in a position to transfer his/her participation to another person or event, then the following refund arrangements apply:


Keeping in view of advance payments towards Venue, Printing, Shipping, Hotels and other overheads, we had to keep Refund Policy is as following slabs-

  • Before 60 days of the conference: Eligible for Full Refund less $100 service fee
  • Within 60-30 days of Conference: Eligible for 50% of payment Refund
  • Within 30 days of Conference: Not eligible for Refund
  • E-Poster Payments will not be refunded.

Accommodation Cancellation Policy: Accommodation Providers (Hotels) have their own cancellation policies and they generally apply when cancellations are made less than 30 days prior to arrival. Please contact us as soon as possible, if you wish to cancel or amend your accommodation. Allied academies will advise the cancellation policy of your accommodation provider, prior to canceling or amending your booking, to ensure you are fully aware of any non-refundable deposits.
