The Photonics session at this physics conference brings together the latest technological advances in photonics. This session emphasizes on the applications of photonics in everyday life. The recent progress in semiconductor technologies, photovoltaic cells and devices have found applications in various fields ranging from telecommunications, medicine, lasers, renewable energy to military technology. Advances in photovoltaics research which may be in the production cost, efficiency or increased reliability will be discussed at this physics congress.
