Biography

Noureddine Zettili is a Professor of Physics at Jacksonville State University, Alabama, USA. His research interests are in the areas of nuclear theory, many-body problem, mathematical physics, and quantum mechanics. He has carried out pioneering work in developing the nuclear Born-Oppenheimer method, a quantum mechanical theory designed to study nuclear collective motion. In addition to his works in the field of nuclear structure and collective motion, he has also worked on the development of a number of simple many-body models that can be solved exactly. He has published over 40 papers in refereed journals and conference proceedings, and has presented about 20 talks at international conferences and institutes. In 2001, he published a textbook on quantum mechanics entitled "Quantum Mechanics: Concepts and Applications." and it book has been highly praised by reviewers and is being adopted as a textbook in a number of universities in the US, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
